Posted August 10, 2016 — Are you boat-besotted? Then the Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Show, known for fine boats and beautiful sheerlines, wants you. Of course, the show, to be held August 12-14, 2016, on the waterfront in Rockland, Maine, offers fine furniture, beautiful jewelry, and essential home wares, but a major focus is on the boats. There will be boats in the water, boats on land, boats all over the place.
All told, there will be more than 100 boats on display this weekend at the largest in-water boat show north of Newport, Rhode Island. More than 50 will be on the docks, the majority from Maine and New England builders, among them Back Cove, Hinckley, Hunt, Lyman-Morse, Maine Cat, MJM, Morris Yachts, Pursuit/Yarmouth Boat Yard, Sabre, and Wilbur.
